Report Designer

SI5 Pro users have the ability to create custom reports using the Report Designer. To open the report designer interface, go to Tools > Report Designer in the menu bar of the Reporting Center.

The Report Designer Users Guide contains complete information about this interface. Please see this document for basic information about custom reports.

Modify an Existing Report

Publishing and Distribution

Once created and published to the report list, a custom report can be distributed to others by following these steps:

1.    Go to Tools > Export Reports in the Reporting Center

2.    Select the reports you wish to export from the list. All reports you select will be included – you can distribute more than one in a single .zip file.

3.    Select a location and file name for the .zip export file by clicking on the Browse… button

4.    Distribute the .zip file to another SI5 user (via email, file share, or similar)

5.    The other user then goes to Tools > Import Reports in their Reporting Center, Browses to the .zip file, and hits ‘Open’ to import.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not unzip the zip file. Import reports is expecting a zip file and will take care of this for you.

Changing Margins

Changing margins or paper sizes requires the user to create a custom report.
