Special
Notice for LANSync Users Regarding Update
to Service Pack 3
SI5 Service Pack 3 contains critical fixes which resolve
bugs on both the server and desktop installs. Of particular
importance are improvements to LanSync performance in MMPD and corrected
calculations when converting to and from metric units of
measurement.
Given
the scope of these corrections, complete and correct functionality
requires that all installs of SI5 (both desktop and server)
are updated to SP3. Customers can choose not to perform the
SP3 update; however, once performed the update must be deployed to
all installs of SI5.
 In the
case that a desktop has been updated prior to the server,
or server prior to the desktop, desktop functionality will be
limited. Users can continue to use other features of the
software, but complete usage will be unavailable until the update is
complete.

D-Tools strongly
recommends that, when updating to SP3, customers perform the
server update prior to updating desktop installs.

advised that projects designed using metric units will be converted
when opened following the update. Click here
