SI5.2 – Noticeable ChangesOrderToolsWhen upgrading from 5.1 to 5.2, OrderTools users will need to perform a manual hotfix in order to run Purchase Order reports. Click here for more information. Canadian Tax Calculations [LEARN MORE]Users using Canadian taxes may see their tax calculations change when upgrading to 5.2. The reason for this is that the Purchase Tax Code, which calculates GST and PST based on the cost of an item, is now mistakenly included in the total tax calculation. This will only affect taxes on items where the Purchase Tax Code has been set. To check this, display the “Canada Purchase Tax” column in either MMPD or a project. If this field is blank, then calculations will not change. If it is not blank, calculations will most likely change depending on the codes selected and the tax rates associated with those codes. If you want the tax calculations to not change, just clear this field (Help Video) PDM View [LEARN MORE]The Project Data Matrix has been redesigned to reduce clutter. Specifically:
1. “unpackaged items” header rows have been removed Items not in a package appear directly in the PDM. Items in packages still have a header row and appear at the bottom of each section. 2. “individual items” header rows and item with accessories header rows have been removed Items with accessories are now indicated by a 3. Accessories appear in grey Accessory items now appear with a grey background as opposed to italics 4. Items with accessories now sort with items that do not have accessories Items with accessories and items without accessories now list and sort together Global Report SettingsNew global report settings (Reporting Center > Tools > Global Settings) affect the way reports run on each local machine [LEARN MORE]
