New Features

·         EZ Match Data Import  [LEARN MORE]

Import data from a price book or a bill of materials and merge with your existing data.  Our EZ Match automation will match products from your import file and your product database based on manufacturer and model values, making data import quick and easy

·         QuickBooks 2008 US and 2007 Canada Compatibility

LinkTools for QuickBooks now works with QuickBooks 2008 US and QB 2007 Canada 

·         AutoCAD 2008 Compatibility

SI5 is now works with AutoCAD 2008 (standard version)

Cool new feature in MMPD that allows you to preview the price of equipment as if it were in a project (based on global defaults)

Enforce consistent casing of manufacturer, category and model fields in projects by using the new D-Tools > Update Case feature

Enhancements

·         Improved project check-out (2607)  

Improvements to project check-out allow you to: 1) automatically check out a project when opening, 2) automatically get the latest revision of project files when needed, and 3) see which projects have updated files on the server

·         Additional data fields available for reports (2405)

Custom Properties 1-10, Weight, Amps, Voltage, BTU, Rack Units,  Dispersion, IP Address and Project Folder Path have been added to the reporting XML and are now available for custom reports 

·         Improved labor hour setup and display (2434)  

The Installed Price and Phase Setup dialogs have been redesigned to make it clearer how labor is calculated on individual items

Editing, sorting and filtering capabilities have been added to the Work Order grid, making it much easier to work with items on work orders 

·        Show single line item for labor on proposals (2945) [LEARN MORE]

Standard proposals will now show only one line for labor in the proposal summary, rather than showing Installation, Management and Design labor separately. Separate line items for labor can still be shown by using the 'show labor by phase in summary' option 

·         Hide and show archived projects (2643)   [LEARN MORE]

Single button click to show either active or archived projects in the project grid. Makes it easy to clean up the grid by archiving projects 

·          Import contact from new project wizard (2639)  

Import project contacts and addresses from Outlook in the New Project Wizard

·         Separate labor and equipment tax for reporting purposes (2630)  

Labor and equipment taxes have been separated in the reporting XML, making it possible to show these separately on reports

Reports

·         (2653) Automation Error when trying to run reports in Text

·         (2650) Manufacturer, model and category show in title case on reports 

·         (2644) Legacy reports not available from AutoCAD interface

·         (2736) Bulk wire lengths show incorrectly on SI4 legacy reports

·         (2893) Project Hours report includes labor from items in phases marked 'ignore labor calculations for this phase'

·         (3030) Project Hours report includes labor for items in a package marked 'ignore labor calculations for equipment and wire items in this package'

Text/Projects        

·         (2623) Autofit rows in PDM does not persist

·         (2985) Equipment and Miscellaneous labor decimal values are rounded in install price dialog

·         (2852) PDM - Numeric and Date Custom fields do not validate

·         (2792) Users cannot edit wire length and headend for bulk wire in Add package dialog randomly

Drawings

·         (2536) Packages with accessories always drop accessory shapes

·          (2727) Duplicate shape or block which has Accessories works incorectly in both Visio and AutoCAD

Navigator - Project Grid

·         (2928) Archived projects still show in Navigator after being archived

·         (2869) Check out of project that appears to be checked in fails with message that project is checked out

·         (2854) Revison files created in checked out project causes various errors

·         (2654) Uninstall network version and reinstall standalone version on same machine causes some project solutions to have no dtl and leads to number of errors

Navigator - Other

·         (2840) Additional Staff Types are not available if less than 4 in master table

·         (2624) Navigator - Reports project summary does not update when project is changed

·         (2982) Running reports without selecting any projects after upgrade to any new build causes error

·         (2956) Mouse cusor shows as hourglass in the main menu

·         (2718) Phase with Action = "Wire Connect" or "No Action" shows as bulk wire in Navigator

Business Manager

·         (2626) Can't delete a resource in BizMgr

·         (2853) Editing other resources in Work Order resource management causes error

·         (2629) Adding "Business Manager" report via Report Designer requires restart of Navigator for report to be visible in the Change Order UI

·         (2711) Deleting a product after changing a sales order or work order number causes error

·         (2850) Saving a sales order using close option did not disable the Add Item menu which causes error

·         (2851) Saving a sales order or work order doesn't check the validation for SO or WO number

·         (2932) Clicking "select all" multiple times when adding items to WO or SO adds the items multiple times

·         (2939) Canceling Delete option for SO or WO has only delete item is enabled and not able to save or close the order

·         (2627) When assigning a resource to a product in a labor work item, the product is marked installed

·         (2931) Labor Items disappear from WO on first save if not also adding equipment

·         (2648) Variable labor item hours not included in Work Order if ignore labor for this phase = true

·         (2954) Assigning resource for products in work order doesn't refresh

·         (2972) Work Order item grid not showing correct estimated hours for all labor items

·         (2973) Work Order total estimated hours summary does not calculate correctly
